Your Mission

As a Product Designer at Propeller, you will partner closely with Product and Engineering to shape product strategy, influence the roadmap and turn customer needs into clear, impactful solutions. With a high level of autonomy, you will own design across the product lifecycle - from discovery and problem framing through to deliveryand iteration - while aligning stakeholders around the squad’s priorities, decisionsand direction.

Your Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end design process, from customer discoveryand problem framing through to detailed design, deliveryand launch.
  • Work closely with customers, subject-matter expertsand internal teams to understand complex workflowsand turn them into simple, intuitive product experiences.
  • Independently turn complex problems into clear solution directions, drawing on the Product Lead, Engineering Leadand wider team for contextand collaboration.
  • Partner closely with engineers throughout delivery, resolving trade-offsand maintaining momentum without compromisingthe customer experience.
  • Drive design decision through evidence - stay close to customers through ongoing research, using evidenceand product data to guide design decisions, validate what worksand shape solutions as we enter a new market.
  • Create and validate user flows, prototypesand interaction designs, including edge casesand acceptance criteria.
  • Lead through influence, bringing stakeholders along on the squad’s decisions, tellingthe story behind the feature, driving progressand product direction,and creating the energyand alignment needed to move things forward.
  • Thrive in a distributed team, working autonomously across locationsand time zones while building strong connections with customersand teammates.

Your Skills

  • 3-5 years' experience as a product designer.
  • Deep understanding of UI/UX best practices, experience working with complex web products, strong proficiency in tools such as Figma,and familiarity with modern design principles.

  • Strong systems thinking skills.

  • Experience running customer discovery independently.

  • Experience designing technical or data-heavy products.
