Job Description
Zuva is hiring an experienced Product Designer to join our cross-functional product team and help guide the development of a new product aimed at internal teams for businesses..Youโll be charged with helping to conduct user research as well as help figure out how best to tackle identified user problems through improvements to the UI and the overall experience. We work as a small and focused cross-functional team, made up of a Product Manager, Designer, and a mix of Frontend and Backend Developers.
This is a remote position on a fixed one-year contact with the possibility of continuation.
What you will be doing
At Zuva, you will have the opportunity to research, design, and provide feedback on the development of an end-user application for contract analysis. As part of the team, you will help foster a user-centered view for the product and ensure that the team is always aware of the user. This starts with conducting user interviews, synthesizing the results, working with our Product Team to determine the most appropriate ways to tackle the findings, producing any new product designs, and then helping our developers put that vision into practice. You will also work with other teams (e.g., Marketing) to ensure that our messaging is consistent across products and websites.
Here are a few of the tools and methodologies we utilize:
-Figma (Design system, UI/UX Design, some prototyping)
-Zoom
-Understanding of accessible design (WCAG 2.1) and familiarity with best practices and online checking tools
-Familiarity with Jira, used to track workGoogle Drive products, formatting Slides and Docs for external and internal use
(Don't worry if you don't have all the experience - we are really looking for capability)
What you bring
-Experience in designing products for B2B end-users
-Wireframing flow diagrams, user journeys
-Whatever process you have cultivated to figure out what the user needs to do and how they might get there
-Appetite to do user research to understand user problems
-Strong collaboration skills
-Experience working closely with development teams, research teams and product managers
Nice to Have
Experience and/or understanding of HTML and CSS User Research and usability testing experience
