Job Description

Project description

Are you driven by innovation? Creative? Passionate about design? And maybe embody that special something that helps to continue to build our culture? Well, youโ€™ve come to the right place.

We follow a simple but vital premise: โ€œFocus on the user and all else will follow.โ€ Our Product Designers take complex tasks and make them intuitive and easy-to-use for every client that approaches us with possibilities just waiting to be solved. Throughout the design processโ€”from creating user flows and wireframes to building user interface mockups and prototypesโ€”youโ€™ll re-envision the art of the possible, and bring that vision to life in a way that feels inspired, refined, and even magical.

We care deeply about the people who create designs as much as the users who interact with them. We collaborate closely with each other and across teams to create industry-leading experiences that deliver value for our B2B/B2C business partners, resulting in lasting relationships

  • Partner closely with other teams and peers to solve complex user problems.
  • Conduct user research to help define your product
  • Help generate feature flows, site maps, flow diagrams, and high-fidelity deliverables
  • Create artifacts, prototypes, and specs that enable developers to implement features efficiently
  • Present your designs to senior management for feedback and approval
  • Provide patterns, best practices, and guidance on interaction/visual design for different devices
  • Gauge the usability, trustworthiness, and delightfulness for each experience

Must have

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Design (e.g., interaction, graphic, visual communications, product, industrial, etc.) or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience with design systems that work across a product
  • A portfolio showing experience designing web and/or mobile applications
  • A portfolio showing data visualization samples

Nice to have

  • Experience in designing usable, web-based interfaces for complex internal systems.
  • Experience conducting user research
  • Understanding of clean visual design
  • Experience working in Capital Markets, especially back office systems
  • Design and Strategy focused workshops (ex: Crazy 8โ€™s, requirement gathering sessions)
