We are looking for a highly-skilled product designer to join our core product team. At Maza, you will work on building mobile-first financial service tools and products for immigrants to the United States. Our vision is to help immigrants build wealth and establish themselves financially in the U.S. through our core products of ITIN registration and personal financial services.
You will help us execute on our vision by designing impactful but simple solutions to financial processes. We strive to reduce anxiety and confusion for our customers and instead make financial services delightful, empowering, and clear to an audience that is new to the United States system.
Requirements
- You have demonstrated ability and experience in mobile consumer / pro-sumer use cases for iOS and/or Android devices.
- You have a strong design background with at least 4 years of experience in digital product design and at least 2 working on mobile.
- You have a strong ability to write precise and grammatically correct copy for user interfaces.
- You have an informed point of view on design processes and want to build a new process here at Maza informed by your experience.
- You have an online portfolio or PDF to share with us. We will not be able to accept applications without a portfolio.
- You like coming into an office and desire to come into the office a minimum of three times a week. Maza is conveniently located right by Union Square 14th St Subway Station in Manhattan.
