Job Description
In this role, you will collaborate with a diverse team of experienced designers, engineers, data scientists, and product managers to enhance your skills and learn new methodologies for identifying and solving complex problems. Under the guidance of a design mentor, you will be actively involved in the end-to-end design process, contributing to strategic discussions, ideating solutions, and creating engineering-ready designs using Figma. Under guided supervision you will demonstrate product design concepts, from shaping ideas to shipping high-quality experiences across web, desktop, and mobile platforms, using iterative design methods.
You will inform design decisions and identify opportunities to create intuitive, human-centered solutions that impact our end users by communicating your ideas through user flows, mock-ups and prototypes by communicating your ideas through user flows, mock-ups, and prototypes. Requirements:
- Enrolled in/or completed a degree program related to product design, interaction design, or a similar field.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating a good balance of visual and interaction design skills, with a deep-seated curiosity for understanding users.
- Knowledge of design fundamentals and how they contribute to a larger design system.
- Experience in taking flat designs and creating prototypes.
- Understanding of how designing one component affects the entire product experience.
- Familiarity with front-end development or ability to articulate how designs function through the lens of development tools (preferred, but not required).**
