UX/UI Designer

We are seeking a talented UX/UI Designer to join our client's team and help create intuitive and engaging digital experiences for our users. This client is based out of NYC but the ideal candidate can be based anywhere in the US. They are looking for a UX/UI designer to help them create visuals for their marketing agency. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of user-centered design principles and a passion for creating aesthetically pleasing interfaces.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with product managers and developers to understand project requirements and user needs.
  2. Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to effectively communicate design ideas.
  3. Conduct user research and testing to gather feedback and make data-driven design decisions.
  4. Iterate designs based on feedback and usability testing results.
  5. Ensure consistency in design across all platforms and devices.
  6. Stay current on industry trends and best practices in UX/UI design.

Required Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field.
  2. Proven experience as a UX/UI Designer or similar role.
  3. Strong portfolio showcasing your design work and process.
  4. Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or Figma.
  5. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  6. Ability to think creatively and solve complex design problems.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Experience with front-end development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  2. Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices.
  3. Experience working in an Agile environment.
  4. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  5. Experience designing for mobile applications.
  6. Estimated time per week for this gig will range from 5-15 hours.
