You'll be joining an early-stage team as the sole Senior Product Designer, responsible for owning our mobile experience from start to finish. You'll have a significant impact on both the product, the strategic direction and how the team operates. 

We have ambitious plans to grow and scale our app, so we're looking for someone with strong mobile design experience, expertise in 0 to 1 product development, and a background in growth and startup environments.

You'll be responsible for working through design problems from beginning to end, translating insights from data and research into design solutions. Product designers at VEED take responsibility every step of the way, from problem solving through to detailed UX, visual and interaction design, working closely with engineers and product managers to build, iterate and ship ideas.


What you will do

  • Own the end-to-end design for our Mobile App. From ideation, to problem solving  and delivery, including prototyping, user testing and visual design.
  • Work closely with the PM and engineering team on problem framing, implementation and overall delivery of high quality work. 
  • Conduct and analyze user research to inform design decisions and prioritize user needs. Leveraging qualitative and quantitative insights to inform your decision-making in a fast paced environment.
  • Contribute to and evolve Mobile’s design system to ensure consistency. 
  • Experiment and optimize key metrics across the user journeys.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams across the entire product development lifecycle.
  • Stay current on design trends and emerging technologies to continuously enhance our product development.


About you

  • You're excited about creative tools and have experience solving complex challenges with a deep understanding of software design.
  • You have broad experience designing for Mobile Apps. You’ve got a proven track record of designing best in class experiences as a strong IC.
  • You have tackled tough challenges, simplifying complex processes to make them intuitive for users.
  • You have experience working in a fast paced environments. The ability to adapt to changing requirements and priorities is a must.
  • You are proficient in industry-standard design and prototyping tools, such as Figma.
  • You have an ownership mindset—proactively solving problems, independently gathering insights and data for validation, and swiftly bringing your vision to life.
  • You are a master of your craft. You have great fundamentals of User Experience, Visual and Interaction Design. 
  • You have great communication skills, you know how to articulate design decisions, and can comfortably collaborate with different members both within and outside your team.
