Description:
- Lead a UX team defining the Imply experience for interactive data experiences on streaming and batch data with limitless scale
- Build UX team, manage projects, hiring, and staffing plans ensuring quality, consistency, and scalability
- Develop design guidelines, systems, and best practices to meet the needs of diverse personas
- Champion user centered design practices, collaborate with engineering and product management
- Review team's designs, provide feedback and guidance
Requirements:
- 5+ years experience leading UX teams, with a strong portfolio of real world projects and a strong track record of cross-functional collaboration
- A solid understanding of design methodologies and practices such as user-centered design, interaction design, and information architecture with strong competencies across multiple areas
- Experience developing hiring and staffing plans
- Experience leading and/or conducting user research with the ability to clearly synthesize actionable results
- Experience creating and maintaining design systems
- Bachelorโs degree in a relevant design field, or equivalent professional work experience
- Experience with data visualization tools, data platforms, or enterprise B2B applications is a plus
- A history of open-source contributions is a plus
