Our Growth Product Line at HubSpot is focused on experimentation and accelerating the journey of our customers beginning with our freemium products. We're a growing team with a critical mission for HubSpot’s business. We want to help millions of organizations around the world grow by empowering people to discover, adopt, and buy HubSpot’s products the way they want to. To achieve this, we focus on acquisition, onboarding, activation, retention, and monetization across the entire HubSpot product platform.
Top candidates will have:
- Deep domain knowledge about Product-Led Growth and experience designing new approaches to user onboarding, activation and usage
- Strong, demonstrable experience delivering successful and intuitive products using growth best practices
- Experience working closely with cross-functional leaders to establish objectives, high-level strategies, and key results for a group of designers
- Comfort with undefined problem spaces and ability to drive sound decision-making through strong problem framing skills and ability to influence
- A developed sense for how to balance speed, quality, and consistency of design
- Deep data analysis skills and ability to design solutions that effectively solve for both business goals and customer needs.
- Ability to deliver clear, direct, and actionable feedback—and ask for it in return.
- Experience planning and leading design workshops to collaborate on driving solutions for complex problem spaces that span multiple teams
- Demonstrated strength with compelling storytelling, strong artifact quality (decks, memos, etc), and ability to sell an agenda or vision
Here’s what success in your role looks like:
- You’ll move quickly, be flexible, and build strong and compelling journey scenarios, information architecture, interaction and visual designs
- You’ll successfully influence executive-level leadership and help them understand the impact and vision of design
- You’ll provide thoughtful feedback on designs as well as identify overlaps and efficiencies between team member’s projects
- You’ll collaborate to drive solutions for problem spaces that span multiple groups; and model ways to adapt as new data and insights are uncovered
- You’ll build strong relationships across the organization, including with cross-product designers, engineers, product managers, analysts and the broader business
- You’ll ground your designs in data- and customer insights, confidently navigate pushback, and provide rationale that reflects design best practices.
