Givebutter is seeking a talented Product Designer to join our team. In this role, you’ll work closely with the Product team to transform feature requirements into user-friendly designs that reflect our brand's unique design language and systems. Your contributions will shape the experience for both fundraisers and donors, ensuring a buttery smooth journey throughout. As part of the Design team, you’ll continuously refine, document, and improve our design system; while partnering with Engineering to bring your designs to life on our platform. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to plan and execute on the product roadmap
- Design wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that effectively communicate design concepts and product requirements
- Work closely with the Product and Design teams to manage and improve our product design system to ensure consistency and efficiency in the design and implementation process
- Perform design reviews on front-end changes to ensure they match designs and meet our product design standards
- Continuously iterate and improve existing designs based on user feedback or product trends
- Present designs to stakeholders, such as Customer Experience and Engineering, and actively engage in constructive feedback sessions
Requirements
- 4+ years of product design experience, with a portfolio showcasing launched web applications
- Experience creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups
- Proficiency in Figma is a must
- Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and best practices, including mobile-first design and accessibility standards
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality pixel pixel-perfect designs
- Proficient understanding of interaction patterns for both desktop and mobile web applications
- Proven ability to drive cross-functional collaboration
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills
