In this role, you will
- Own and drive design problems from ideation to execution with a cross-functional team
- Facilitate user research, synthesize user feedback and data, and contribute to product strategy
- Communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap using data and customer understanding to influence others
- Maintain design standards ensuring consistent, high-quality execution
- Cultivate a collaborative and innovative design culture through feedback and process iteration
- Build a strong design culture at Thalamus, participate in hiring and mentoring team members
You will need
- At least 7 years of prior experience in product design with a strong portfolio showcasing your work
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, and prototyping tools
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experience working in a scrappy startup environment
- Experience effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Experience managing or mentoring designers
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field
