- Design solutions that build confidence for developers regarding production changes.
- Work alongside the DevEx Leadership Team to solve complex problems.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
- Conduct user research, including interviews or usability testing.
- Facilitate team workshops for ideation or assumption discovery.
- Mentor other designers and share expertise.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a Product Design role.
- Ability to use generative and evaluative research methods.
- Experience working in an agile environment with Product Managers and Engineers.
- Understanding of daily developer workflows and experience with relevant tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A portfolio showcasing success in designing for developer tooling.
Preferred Qualifications
- A software engineering background would be a nice-to-have.
Interview Process
- Introduction and recruiter screen.
- Interview with a hiring manager and another team member.
- Portfolio presentation followed by general Q&A.
