Responsibilities

  • Design solutions that build confidence for developers regarding production changes.
  • Work alongside the DevEx Leadership Team to solve complex problems.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Conduct user research, including interviews or usability testing.
  • Facilitate team workshops for ideation or assumption discovery.
  • Mentor other designers and share expertise.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a Product Design role.
  • Ability to use generative and evaluative research methods.
  • Experience working in an agile environment with Product Managers and Engineers.
  • Understanding of daily developer workflows and experience with relevant tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A portfolio showcasing success in designing for developer tooling.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A software engineering background would be a nice-to-have.

Interview Process

  • Introduction and recruiter screen.
  • Interview with a hiring manager and another team member.
  • Portfolio presentation followed by general Q&A.
