We’re looking for an experienced Product Designer to join our Link team. In this pivotal role, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional partners to identify and craft innovative solutions that enhance the bank linking experience for both consumers and customers. You’ll lead the design of 0-1 direct-to-consumer products while iterating on existing experiences, ensuring that every solution meets the highest standards of visual and interaction design excellence. At Plaid, we are committed to delivering an industry-leading bank linking experience that supports a wide range of Plaid’s customer use cases, from Credit to Payments. By leveraging our expansive network and prioritizing a best-in-class UX, we ensure consumers enjoy a seamless, high-converting experience that drives results for customers. The design team at Plaid is made up of product designers, researchers, and content strategists who work with our cross-functional partners to create Plaid’s products. Responsibilities: Shipping delightful and easy-to-use experiences for consumers on mobile (including iOS or Android) and desktop. Closely collaborating with engineers and product managers, from planning through execution. Being a tireless advocate for the users and user-centered processes. Producing high-quality work from wireframes and user flows to pixel perfect prototypes with delightful interactions. Ability to develop insights into consumer behavior from both qualitative and quantitative information. Joining a team of experienced designers and contributing to our design culture through collaboration, presenting work, and sharing feedback. Requirements: 6+ years of experience in creating and shipping quality digital products. Producing high-quality work from wireframes and user flows to pixel perfect prototypes with delightful interactions. Strong verbal and visual presentation skills, as well as an articulate point of view about design. Proven record of collaboration to support and influence the team’s direction, vision, and planning of deliverables and an ability to tie designs to business needs, goals, and metrics. Having a divergent exploratory process with the ability to communicate trade-offs.
