Job Description
As Founding UX/UI Designer you will be working with a high performance team that was formerly part of Google and PayPal. You should be motivated by our mission to empower women to achieve more by bringing them together using AI and enjoy the challenge of finding PMF in a dynamic startup environment.
As a first full-time in-house designer, you'll be granted a wide degree of latitude and decision-authority over designing (and/or re-designing) Les Amis apps. You will work with users to understand their needs and context, define requirements and work with engineering and product teams to bring those requirements to life. You will:
- Own the UI/UX across Les Amis mobile applications
- Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback to enhance and polish the UX/UI design
- Design and implement user interface for our mobile and desktop applications
- Collaborate with our product and engineering teams to provide the vision and direction for our product strategy and philosophy
- Create and iterate upon Les Amis product design processes

Requirements
- A talented and passionate UX/UI Designer with 3+ years of professional experience
- Strong understanding and experience working in the Product Design lifecycle
- Experienced in designing B2C mobile products
- Able to solve complex design problems in a measured and creative way
- Strong experience with Figma and/or other modern design tools
- Effective time management skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and experience in working within a cross-functional team.
- Strong communication skills and ability to articulate why and how visuals and designs should work
- Fluent English is required for this role
- Plus: overlap with Spain hours and ability to meet in person once a quarter
