Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a high-performing SF-based design team.
  • Oversee design for Core Product, Chat, Knowledge Base, and Design Systems pods.
  • Partner with PMs and engineers to shape product strategy and ensure execution.
  • Set a high bar for design quality and guide team in achieving it.
  • Provide actionable feedback to enhance work outcomes.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and design excellence.
  • Scale the design organization, improving processes and practices.
  • Advocate for users and design quality in decision-making.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of product design experience, 3+ years managing designers.
  • Experience shipping B2B or technical products with a focus on UX.
  • Strong product sense and a clear perspective on great design.
  • A collaborative leadership style, capable of managing distributed design teams.
  • Experience providing principled feedback to improve designer outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience overseeing multiple workstreams or product surfaces.
  • Proven track record of improving team performance and product quality.
  • Portfolio showcasing exceptional visual and interaction design.
