Design the product that powers better access to banking
Prelim is seeking a skilled and motivated designer to join our (small, but growing!) team. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology and be at the forefront of fintech, helping to increase access to banking for millions of people.
As a Product Designer at Prelim, you will be responsible for designing the technology that powers our digital account opening solutions. You will work closely with our product and development teams to bring new features and improvements to our platform, ensuring that we are providing the best possible experience for our users.
You will:
- Own the design of new and existing features
- Create pixel-perfect visual designs (UI)
- Understand and break down user flows and complex concepts
- Create design assets, branding, and UX writing
- Be working directly with different kinds of users, from consumers to bankers to lenders
You may be a fit for this role if you:
- Can untangle hard conceptual problems and have sharp intuition for how people use (or wish they could use) products (UX)
- Care about the business needs, implications, and possibilities of your designs. You don't get stuck on pretty UI, and can balance between craft, speed and the bottom line
- Hold yourself and others to a high bar and sweat the small UX stuff
- Have experience working closely with engineers and product
- Are self-ยญaware, have a positive attitude, a sense of humor, and are empathetic
