About the role

• The Design team at ElevenLabs is crafting experiences for the next generation of audio workflows using generative AI.
• You’ll work in entirely new and unexplored problem spaces, like crafting experiences around voice cloning that allow people to generate content in realistic voices, languages, and accents, to create universally accessible content, safely.
• You’ll reimagine how creative teams craft sounds just by describing them, and how they bring it all together in one AI-first generative audio platform.
• The work here has the potential to revolutionize workflows for creators to media and entertainment, publishing giants, and defining entirely new spaces like conversational AI companies.
• You will work with Engineering and AI Research teams to communicate, evolve, and execute a strong product design standard showcasing ElevenLabs as an innovator in generative AI audio.
• You are crucial to company growth and product launches through contributions to strategic direction, maintaining high visual standards, and focusing on user needs.
• You have an owner’s mentality, taking pride in your work and team’s work as part-owner and builder of ElevenLabs.
• You'll work closely with Nev Flynn, Austin Malerba, and collaborate with frontend engineers to achieve outcomes.

What you bring

• No formal experience, certifications, or degrees required; seeking enthusiastic product designers showing problem-solving with past projects and designs.
• Creative thinking to establish and execute vision for team initiatives, challenge the status quo, push innovation, and inspire towards unified outcomes.
• Efficient execution to ship impactful products for business and customers.
• Partnership with leadership to communicate concisely across the team and influence product and design outcomes.
• Work across the entire business stack impacting product stages: vision & strategy, execution, and operational support for onboarding.
• Preferred ability to collaborate closely with engineering partners understanding technical constraints while maintaining high design standards and execution level.
• Work closely with stakeholders across the organization, including Engineering, Customer Support, and Growth to define and launch new products and features.
