Responsibilities
- Lead production of devices connecting millions to financial opportunities.
- Orchestrate seamless production operations and develop high-performing teams.
- Design and implement production strategies to exceed quality expectations.
- Work with cross-functional teams to scale manufacturing efficiently.
- Develop production processes and monitor performance for continuous improvement.
- Implement Kaizen principles and ensure consistent product delivery quality.
- Oversee scheduling, staffing, workflow management, and production plans.
- Monitor production processes and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and inventory for raw materials availability.
- Manage facilities and control budget expenses through resource allocation.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Implement production aspects of accounting procedures.
- Lead, coach, and mentor production team to meet departmental goals.
- Identify training needs and foster a positive, collaborative culture.
- Conduct performance reviews and implement improvement plans.
Requirements
- Proven manufacturing and production management experience.
- Electronics manufacturing and phone assembly experience is advantageous.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or related field.
- Strong leadership and managerial skills to inspire teams.
- Expertise in production planning, scheduling, and inventory management.
- Problem-solving and root cause analysis skills for continuous improvement.
- Proficiency with CAM software, ERP systems, and production management tools.
- Excellent communication skills at all organizational levels.
- Knowledge of quality management systems, lean manufacturing, safety regulations, and Kaizen principles.

Work Environment
- Onsite role in Nairobi reporting to the Head of Manufacturing.
