Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of full-stack engineers while remaining hands-on with code and architecture
- Establish engineering best practices, code quality standards, and development processes that enable rapid iteration while maintaining product reliability
- Partner closely with Product and Design leads to translate product requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Develop technical roadmaps and guide the team in delivering high-quality solutions
- Participate in recruiting and hiring to build a diverse and talented growth engineering team
Requirements
- 5+ years of full-stack development experience with 2+ years in a technical leadership or management role
- Product-centric mindset with superb written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical teammates
- Experience with early-stage company best practices including rapid iteration with robust metrics and qualitative user feedback
Nice to Have
- Experience with both web and mobile development
- Experience building delightful consumer subscription products
