Responsibilities
- Build productionโquality components and interactions that are both delightful to use and easy to reuse across the product.
- Rapidly prototype new concepts and features to validate ideas with real interactions before full implementation.
- Bridge the gap between design and engineering by translating Figma designs into robust code and pushing design forward through technical innovation.
- Collaborate closely with designers and engineers to define whatโs technically possible and push the boundaries of our product experience.
- Explore and industrialise new tools (AI, automation, localisation, etc.) turning experiments into reliable, documented workflows the whole team can benefit from.
What you can expect
- You will be the first Design Engineer at Qonto, defining and shaping this role within a mature Product structure.
- Move away from static handoffs toward dynamic, code-based prototyping and continuous improvement.

About You
- Proven track record bridging design and tech with strong background in Mobile Development or Frontend engineering.
- Fluent in HTML/CSS and comfortable with modern development environments (Terminal, Scripts, Git).
- Passionate about industrializing workflows; experience building scripts, plugins, or automations.
- Strong eye for design and deep understanding of Design Systems.
- Comfortable with ambiguity, autonomous, and proactive builder mindset.
