Position Overview
- Own and evolve the architecture of major backend components of Agiloftโs CLM Core platform with end-to-end accountability.
- Partner with Engineering leadership, senior engineers, and product leaders to translate business strategy into technical plans.
- Lead adoption and enablement of AI-driven software development capabilities.
- Combine deep technical expertise with broad influence to shape Agiloftโs technical roadmap and developer experience.
Job Responsibilities
- Architecture Ownership & Stewardship: Own architecture for critical backend domains ensuring design integrity, evolution, and technical debt management.
- Strategic Technical Leadership: Plan and execute architecture and code changes to improve scalability, extensibility, and developer productivity while maintaining the no-code principle.
- AI-Forward Engineering Enablement: Champion AI-assisted engineering by designing AI-friendly components and best practices.
- Engineering Excellence & Developer Experience: Uphold high standards in code quality, testing, security, and developer tooling.
- Mentorship & Organizational Impact: Mentor engineers, unblock teams, communicate complex concepts, and drive adoption of cloud-native and AI-enabled practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelorโs or masterโs degree in computer science, Information Systems, Software, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering, or comparable field.
- 10+ years professional software engineering experience with impact at senior or staff level.
- Strong proficiency in Java and SQL, with deep experience in large-scale backend systems.
- Experience owning and evolving architecture for complex platforms and leading modernization initiatives.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code frameworks such as Terraform.
- Strong proficiency with AI-assisted development tools and integration into engineering workflows.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to influence technical direction.
- Excellent communication skills around architecture and strategy.
