The Role
- Work alongside engineers, designers, and product managers on company initiatives and bug fixes.
- Contribute across frontend and backend, including Ruby on Rails, React, and React Native.
- Help evolve engineering culture and processes with scalable codebases and mentoring.
What Youβll Do
- Design, implement, and deliver complex features across Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, GraphQL/REST, React, and React Native.
- Lead efforts to address technical debt and system reliability, identifying areas for refactoring or optimization.
- Influence architecture and system design for long-term improvements.
- Set and uphold code quality, testing coverage, and documentation standards and mentor others.
- Improve internal tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring systems.
- Facilitate technical discussions and help teams align on solutions.
- Act as escalation point for complex technical challenges.
- Partner closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to shape feature direction.

- Familiarity with PostgreSQL, Redis, and background jobs (e.g., Sidekiq).
- Ability to solve ambiguous problems with limited direction.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and mentorship skills.
- Experience using AI to enhance products or workflows.
- Permanent residence and work authorization in the U.S.

- Experience with React Native.
