Responsibilities

• Deliver software to enable new customer initiatives and own the balance between time to launch, ability to pivot, and ability to scale.
• Seek and utilize knowledge of the Lime engineering ecosystem to find the right solution, or design what's needed.
• Learn from our customers by shipping software and understanding the market environment.
• Collaborate with coworkers in Product, Design, Data, and Operations.
• Ensure solutions interoperate well with Lime's full stack of services including cloud-based backend services, web-based tools, mobile clients, and third-party applications.
• Mentor individuals at Lime and participate in learning, growth, and improvement activities.
• Participate in the shaping of Lime's Engineering culture.

Requirements

• 7+ years of industry professional software development experience with impactful products or systems.
• Team focus and investment in cross-functional collaborators.
• Owner's mindset focused on outcomes and problem-solving.
• Data driven with the ability to instrument work for decision making and reasoning through data.
• Excellent communication skills and effective management of competing priorities.

Preferred Experience

• Experience shipping Ruby on Rails backend and/or React-based web frontend applications.
• Brings a learning mindset to software development tools including AI.
• Enthusiasm for Lime's mission and micromobility to transform cities.
