The Magento Web Designer will be responsible for the ongoing management, optimization, and visual improvement of the companyโs Magento (Adobe Commerce) website. This is a hands-on role focused on continuous updates, UX/UI enhancements, and maintaining a high-performing e-commerce experience that supports conversion and usability.Key Responsibilities
- Manage and update the Magento website on a daily basis
- Upload and maintain product listings, descriptions, and visual content
- Ensure site content is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with business needs
- Improve website layout, navigation flow, and overall user experience
- Optimize product pages and landing pages to increase conversion rates
- Identify and implement design enhancements that improve usability and performance
- Create and edit visual assets such as banners and product visuals
- Maintain consistency by working within existing brand guidelines
- Collaborate with internal teams to execute design ideas
- Work alongside developers on technical implementations
- Execute light front-end changes independently when possible
- Leverage tools, including AI-assisted tools, to improve efficiency
- Identify opportunities to improve site performance and user journey
- Support ongoing conversion rate optimization (CRO) initiatives
Qualifications
- 2โ5+ years of experience working with Magento (Adobe Commerce)
- Experience managing and updating e-commerce websites on an ongoing basis
- Experience in UX/UI design for e-commerce
Skills
- Strong understanding of e-commerce best practices
- Proficiency in design tools such as Photoshop, Figma, or similar
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS (nice to have)
- Familiarity with AI tools such as Claude or similar (nice to have)
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on design and usability
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to iterate quickly
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
