What you will be doing
- Responsible for the design, implementation and testing of the user interface.
- Write reusable, testable and efficient code that produces a seamless and beautiful user experience.
- Work with the business as a whole, converting business requirements into development tasks.
- Mentor other team members.
- Promote and ensure software engineering best practices and a culture of quality across the Frontend Development team and codebase.
- Manage a team of frontend engineers, with the opportunity to grow that leadership responsibility.
Skills we'd love you to have
- Passionate about software engineering and delivering a quality product.
- Enjoy creating beautiful and enjoyable user interfaces.
- Excellent understanding and experience with client-side JavaScript (Typescript), React, CSS, and HTML.
- Committed to using automated testing platforms and unit tests.
- Proficient with issue management, code versioning, continuous integration and deployment tools.
