We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Design Engineer to support pre-construction mark-up work remotely from Colombia.
In this role, you will
- Collaborate remotely with U.S.-based pre-construction and project teams to provide electrical design mark-ups.
- Create detailed electrical design drawings and schematics using Bluebeam.
- Review electrical plans and specifications for accuracy and quality.
- Provide technical support to project managers and construction teams.
- Perform load calculations and design layouts for power distribution and lighting systems.
- Ensure compliance with the U.S. National Electrical Code (NEC) and local codes.
- Prepare and submit technical documentation for project approval.
- Work closely with various project stakeholders to align designs with project requirements.
You will need
- Bachelorβs degree in Electrical Engineering or related field from a Colombian university.
- 3+ years of experience in electrical design, with exposure to U.S. or international projects.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar software.
- Familiarity with NEC and international codes.
- Strong communication skills in English and Spanish.
- Analytical problem-solving skills and high attention to detail.
- Reliable internet connection for remote work.
