Pocket Worlds is currently seeking a senior software engineer who is not only skilled in coding, but also loves innovation, is approachable, and can work well with others. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with team members located around the world and communicating through various channels such as Slack, or other tools (sorry, no carrier pigeons!).
If you're the kind of person who thinks that code and architecture can be beautiful, we want you! We want someone who can build amazing apps that make people smile, while still adhering to best practices and writing clean, maintainable code.
You should be able to work independently and be self-motivated because we won't be there to hold your hand (but we'll send virtual hugs whenever you need them). And since this is a remote position, you'll need to be comfortable managing your time and staying focused.

Here are the skills and qualities we're looking for in our ideal candidate:
- You have exceptional C# design and programming skills with at least 10 years of software programming experience.
- You must also have at least 4 years of experience in programming with the Unity engine.
- You have experience architecting, designing, and implementing a wide array of software products.
- You have experience supporting mission-critical applications at scale.
- You have experience developing mobile apps for both iOS or Android.
- You have built any side projects or games outside of work or made significant open-source contributions.
- You have experience programming in Lua.
