In this role, you will
- Build systems that power Intercomโs AI products, working primarily with ML Python tech stack and occasionally with our Rails app.
- Collaborate with ML engineers and scientists to bring proof-of-concept code to production, ensuring robustness and scalability.
- Partner with ML engineers to build platforms for optimal AI product experience.
- Contribute to all software development phases, from ideation to testing.
- Participate in hiring and mentoring other engineers, promoting high technical standards.
You will need
- 5+ years of backend engineering experience, demonstrating significant impact in your contributions.
- Strong technical fundamentals and a willingness to learn and develop.
- In-depth knowledge of high-level programming languages, such as Python or Ruby.
- Ability to navigate the tech stack and prioritize progress.
- Passion for advancements in the AI space.
