The Position
In this role as a Product Analytics intern, youβll analyze our user and business data to produce data-driven insights to help our product teams make the best decisions possible. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of analytics, work on impactful projects, and contribute to the growth of our organization. Youβll be able to collaborate with colleagues from our data (e.g., analytics engineers, data scientists) and non-data teams (e.g., product managers, designers) so youβll gain a unique perspective on how data is used across the company. You will report to our Analytics Lead and will be paired with a Senior Data Analyst for the duration of the internship.What You'll Do
- Find applicable insights from our rich datasets of behavioral and business data.
- Build data visualizations and dashboards that detail findings.
- Get mentorship from other GameChanger teammates to guide you through your experience. Youβll learn things like Git version control, code review, using code notebooks, and data storytelling.
- Work with great people across the company, an awesome product, and have lots of fun together along the way!
- Use our modern data stack tools like Snowflake, dbt, Looker, and Hex.
- Participate in our team ceremonies to gain experience working within a remote-first collaborative environment.
- Solve everything from well-scoped data requests (that can take 1-2 days) to more exploratory analysis on open-ended questions (that can take 1 week or more).
Who You Are
- You are pursuing a Bachelorβs degree, or looking to make a career change.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Comfortable cleaning and manipulating data, and drawing insights from it.
- We use SQL, Looker (a BI tool), Python/R. Experience with any one of these is enough. We can help you learn the rest.
- You love working with others to deliver value.
- Genuine curiosity in understanding user behavior and enhancing product experiences.
- Enthusiastic about using technology to enhance peopleβs lives.
