The Knox Design System team is a cross-functional group of developers, designers, and product managers. Our main goal is to help teams achieve higher efficiency, consistency, and scalability when building 1Password products.Our areas of focus are:
- Establishing frontend foundational standards and tooling across our codebases
- Creating and maintaining a library of reusable design components and usage guidelines
This is a remote opportunity within Canada. This is a full time (40 hours per week) position that will run for 4 months - May to August 2025.
What you can expect
- Assist our team in building React components from Figma specifications.
- Implement coded components in our customer-facing applications.
- Leverage an understanding of software development practices at 1Password to help define standards and best practices for developing frontend code.
- Collaborate with people from across many countries, disciplines and experience levels, who all care a lot about what weβre building.

Bonus points for
- Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and/or React.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.
- Experience with Git, SSH, Commit Signing, 1Password Command Line Tool, CI/CD pipelines and/or cloud providers.
