Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute a security roadmap aligned to Aircallโ€™s product and platform priorities. Partner with global stakeholders to implement scalable policies and practices across regions.
  • Lead initiatives around application security, cloud security, and data protection.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and DevOps to embed secure-by-design principles across our cloud-native stack (AWS).
  • Own vulnerability management, penetration testing, and incident response across the product.
  • Define and promote secure SDLC practices across globally distributed development teams.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and GRC teams to integrate security into product lifecycle and infrastructure decisions.
  • Support compliance initiatives such as SOC2, ISO 27001, and GDPR, and respond to security inquiries from global customers.
  • Champion a security culture across teams in Europe, North America, and beyond.
  • Lead and grow a high-performing, globally distributed security engineering team.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for security within the product and engineering orgs.
  • Represent security priorities and progress to senior leadership.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in product or infrastructure security, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Deep understanding of cloud-native environments (especially AWS), secure development, and platform security.
  • Proven success partnering with engineering, product, and compliance teams in fast-paced SaaS environments.
  • Experience leading distributed teams and operating effectively across regions and time zones.
  • Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks like SOC2, ISO 27001, and GDPR.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in B2B SaaS or communications platforms is a plus.
