Our blockchain team supports promising studios in building great blockchain games for a worldwide audience of mobile users. The blockchain gaming market is thriving. By joining this team you will help us disrupt the market by creating a new segment of fun, mobile blockchain games. The team is multi-disciplinary and gathers expertise in Product, Tech and M&A. Together, they work as an entrepreneurial squad, looking to build the next hit in the mobile space.
What is your role?
Getting Blockchain onto mobile and providing users with a seamless experience are our key current challenges.
As a Unity Developer in the Blockchain team, youโll be empowered to take ownership of our in-house Mobile SDK that provides a unified blockchain experience in our mobile games available on iOS and Android.
You will also actively work on our technical mobile game prototypes developed to test all the Blockchain features we are releasing, including NFT breeding, web3 tournaments, marketplaces, and additional meta features.
You will be part of a small and high-performing team and will have the opportunity to grow your skills while delivering a new gaming experience for our users.
Role
- Being in charge of developing new features of the Voodoo Blockchain Mobile SDK
- Collaborate with other teams to deliver new and innovative features that improve the user interactions with the Blockchain
- Work closely with game developers and Blockchain third-parties across the world, so you can ensure the Mobile SDK is reliable and bug-free
- Take full ownership of your work, bringing creativity and helpfulness to the workplace every day
- One of your challenges will be maintaining SDK stability across multiple OS versions and devices and improving CI/CD processes, tests, and monitoring of the SDK, so theyโre absolutely perfect!
- Bring your creativity and your gaming development skills to develop new innovative Blockchain gameplay loop on mobile
Profile
- The desire to learn and progress within a dynamic team
- Strong experience working in Unity C# and knowledge of Unity Editor possibilities and limitations
- Experience in writing tests (Unity Test runner, e2e, โฆ)
- Experience with versioning tools (GIT, SVN, ...)
- Solid understanding of the mobile development life cycle and release processes on mobile with Unity
- Passionate about writing clean, well organized, and production-ready code
- Working knowledge of the general mobile and blockchain landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
- You are a critical thinker and a problem solver with a keen eye for identifying problems in workflows and processes (and driving them to a resolution)
- You like sharing your Unity knowledge
- Speak and write English
- Past projects portfolio using Blockchain technologies is a strong plus
- Past projects portfolio on hybrid casual or casual mobile games is a strong plus
- Knowledge of ETH smart contract language (solidity) is a plus
