- Economist Impact is seeking a Creative Strategy Director to join the Strategy & Solutions team in APAC.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Creative Leadership
- Lead the proposal development process in APAC from interpreting client briefs to shaping compelling solutions.
- Serve as a senior creative strategist for high-value regional and global partnerships, delivering innovative concepts and storytelling.
- Partner with analysts, content creators, producers, and media strategists to leverage Economist Impact capabilities.
- Champion insight-led thinking using audience data, market intelligence, and performance learnings.
- Contribute to the development of regional and global βturn-keyβ packages to accelerate sales.
Collaboration & Regional Impact
- Work closely with APAC sales and Director of Creative Content to ensure strategic alignment between storytelling, branded content, and partnership solutions.
- Collaborate with regional Partnership Leads to nurture and expand high-value client relationships through consultative engagement.
- Ensure feedback loops between delivery and strategy to embed performance learnings into future designs.
Thought Leadership & Innovation
- Act as a thought partner within APAC to shape regional growth opportunities and evolve market presentation.
- Lead brainstorms, inspire teams, and bring forward bold ideas while maintaining editorial integrity.
- Contribute to global knowledge sharing and innovation in formats, packages, and proposal excellence.
Qualifications & Experience
- 8+ years experience in creative strategy, branded partnerships, or integrated marketing in media, publishing, or agency environments.
- Proven ability to deliver impactful marketing and thought leadership solutions for premium brands.
- Strong storytelling and proposal development skills across multiple formats.
- Creative and strategic thinker with exceptional writing and design sensibility.
- Experience working across APAC markets with sensitivity to cultural nuances and regional expectations.
- Ability to collaborate across time zones and disciplines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing, content formats, and performance optimisation.
