Responsibilities
- Be market and customer obsessed by driving ongoing market, customer, and competitive research to inform positioning and long-term messaging strategy.
- Lead the creation, refinement, and articulation of the Grow productβs positioning and messaging ensuring clarity, consistency, and market relevance.
- Develop and maintain the strategic product narrative communicating Guildβs unique value and competitive differentiation to various stakeholders.
- Translate customer pain points and market differentiation into narrative-driven assets such as market-facing decks, core product messaging guides, and executive talking points.
- Partner closely with Product, Marketing, Employer Partnerships, Sales, Executives, and Enablement teams for alignment around core product positioning and consistent narrative delivery.
- Influence the product roadmap by synthesizing customer and market insights to align positioning with evolving needs and competitive dynamics.
Required Proficiencies
- 6+ years in product marketing or related fields with a proven track record in positioning and messaging, preferably in B2B SaaS or HR Tech.
- Exceptional storytelling and communication skills, able to distill complex ideas into compelling narratives for HR or L&D buyers.
- Expertise in competitive analysis, market research, and using insights to shape high-level product strategy.
- Experience in positioning and messaging for a product suite including nested products within a hero product.
- Ability to build consensus across executives and cross-functional teams in complex organizations.
- Confidence working directly with executive leadership to build and refine positioning.
- Ability to translate detail to high-level view connecting market trends and customer needs to long-term positioning.
- Analytical mindset using data to inform strategy and measure success.
