Responsibilities
- Research and develop insights about how our customers and specific personas think about commercial and DIY options and their industry-specific requirements to guide our GTM strategy.
- Develop Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies for capabilities that target central IT, business units, and individual teams within an enterprise.
- Create clear and straightforward messaging that emphasizes Octopus business value (tied to time, money, and risk) to different audiences in large companies including decision makers, influencers, and users as well as specific industries, such as Financial Services (FSI)
- Create persuasive marketing materials, such as articles, videos, demos, press releases, and case studies independently and with support from DevRel and product teams to highlight the unique benefits and return on investment (ROI).
- Collaborate with Digital and Field Marketing to develop demand and lead generation campaigns and track their success using pipeline, win rates, and adoption metrics.
- Work with the Product and Sales teams as we iterate on the product roadmap and sales campaigns, incorporating customer insights.
- Lead regular briefings with industry analysts (Gartner, Forrester) and media to influence vendor ratings and create publicity opportunities.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in enterprise software product marketing, including SaaS products, through several tier 1 launches. Strong preference to those with experience in DevOps tooling or other SDLC tools.
- Positioned technical solutions that improve the productivity of organizations and business units, ideally related to software development.
- Created sales messages that enterprise sellers can use for their account-based campaigns.
- Developed targeted communication, including presenting the solution's value for specific personas.
- Developed go-to-market strategy (product, positioning, promotion, pricing) based on market, competitive, and customer insights.
- Led cross-functional projects, engaging with different stakeholders, and across key functions.
- Self-driven and able to work in a distributed environment, including working flexible hours and traveling to team meet-ups and industry events when required.
