Job Description
We are looking for an experienced product marketing professional to take ownership of our Competitive Intelligence program within the Product Marketing team.
As part of this work, you will develop and own a comprehensive Competitive Intelligence program and work closely with product management and marketing teams to incorporate competitive intelligence into product roadmaps, marketing plans, and sales strategies. You will be instrumental in enabling sellers, guiding product roadmap decisions, and ensuring differentiation in the market.
Qualifications:
- You have 6+ years of experience at a SaaS company in competitive intelligence, product marketing, market research, or related roles.
- You have been responsible for developing and owning a comprehensive Competitive Intelligence program, outlining key components to empower sellers and guide product development decisions.
- You're a strategic thinker, and an industry savvy individual who stays abreast of industry trends and competitor activities, providing insights and recommendations to guide strategic product decisions and market differentiation.
- You are a skilled presenter who can confidently convey findings to internal stakeholders, guiding product requirements and roadmap decisions based on your insights.
Responsibilities:
- Own the coordination and execution of initiatives that enhance competitive positioning and differentiation in the market.
- Conduct thorough market research, competitor analysis, and customer interviews to identify key differentiators and translate them into actionable insights. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of competitor products, pricing, and positioning.
- Collaborate with product management to understand and define product requirements and roadmap based on competitive landscape and customer feedback.
- Present key findings, strategic insights, and actionable recommendations to internal stakeholders, including sales teams, product managers, and executives.
- Provide guidance on positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies.

- Work closely with the sales team to understand their needs, providing them with the necessary knowledge and tools to effectively compete in the market.
- Lead the creation of internal content and assets, such as competitive positioning documents, and training materials, to empower the sales team.
Nice to Haves:
- Worked at a privacy, security, compliance, or data governance software company previously in similar capacity
- Relevant certifications in Product Marketing or Competitive Intelligence.
