What You9ll Do

  • Track, analyze, and summarize new and evolving AI-related policies, laws, and regulations globally (e.g., EU AI Act, U.S. Executive Orders, OECD, ISO standards).
  • Develop and maintain an AI policy database and tracking system.
  • Monitor regulatory consultations, white papers, and reports from governments, standard-setting bodies, and multilateral organizations.

Reporting & Communication

  • Produce regular updates, briefings, and internal reports for Policy Team, also to share and translate with Product Team.
  • Prepare executive summaries and deep dives on key regulatory developments and their implications.
  • Translate complex policy and regulatory information into actionable insights tailored to technical and non-technical audiences.

Stakeholder Engagement Support

  • Collaborate with Legal, Policy, Product, and AI research teams to align regulatory updates and change that impact customers or Product.
  • Support policy team in participation or responses to regulatory consultations, comment submissions, and industry forums.
  • Assist in preparing materials for policy team meetings with regulators, industry associations, and advocacy groups.

Product Development

  • Identify opportunities to automate or streamline regulatory tracking and reporting processes (e.g., through tools, dashboards, partnerships).
  • Help define key AI policies, regulations and standards relevant to Credo AI9s customers, and engage with the Policy and Product teams to operationalize new content and content updates in product.

Your Experience: What We9re Looking for

  • 2-3 years of AI Policy experience (reading, analyzing, and writing about AI policies, regulations, and standards).
  • Analytical mindset with a bias for action and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Expectations

  • Strong understanding of AI policies, standards, and regulatory environments (e.g., GDPR, EU AI Act, ISO standards, NIST frameworks).
  • Proven track record of analyzing AI policies, with the ability to bridge technical and regulatory domains.
  • Clear, concise communication skills, especially in breaking down complex elements of regulations and standards for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • AI fluency or willingness to learn is a requirement.

Bonus Points

  • Written research or thought leadership on AI policies, regulations, and standards.
  • Current engagement in AI Policy networks (at state, national, or global level).
  • Background in AI governance, ethics, or risk management.
  • Experience in government or private sector tracking and monitoring AI policy.
