Role Summary

- Develop foundational infrastructure for a Design Centre of Excellence within the People team.
Responsibilities
- Manage, coach, and support designers to enhance skill and quality of output.
- Build systems, templates, and standards for a scalable design Centre of Excellence.
- Plan weekly design sprints and ensure quality delivery of outputs.
- Consult with internal teams to deliver learner-centered, practical design solutions.
- Lead design work across a variety of briefs balancing strategy and hands-on delivery.
- Manage priorities and protect design team focus amid competing demands.
- Oversee design and development of experiential learning including workshops, events, and blended solutions.
- Adopt latest learning and design principles to create engaging, inclusive programs.
- Collaborate with internal communications for alignment and visibility of key initiatives.
- Work closely with facilitators, SMEs, and partners to tailor learning solutions effectively.
- Communicate clearly and confidently in a remote, fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- 5+ years design experience, including learning consultancy or client-facing roles.
- Experience leading or mentoring designers and delivering scalable learning solutions.
- Strong background in experiential design such as workshops and live sessions.
- Ability to work effectively in high-demand, ambiguous contexts while maintaining quality.
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills for managing expectations.
Bonus Points
- Experience partnering with Internal Communications or Employee Engagement teams.
- Familiarity with design tools: Articulate, Canva, Figma.
- Experience building or running a design Centre of Excellence and learning infrastructure.
