The main scope of this role is to conduct detailed on-chain data analysis, finding from which will be used to advise our partners and companies on token economy design. You will become the go-to expert from a Data Science/Analytics perspective within our Tokenomics function at Animoca Brands.

Responsibilities:

• Collect and analyse data on cryptocurrency and blockchain markets, including market trends, trading volumes, and token performance
• Monitoring tokens and NFTs using on-chain data (Dune dashboard or similar)Produced detailed research reports on current market conditions, web 3 trends and the factors impacting them
• Develop and implement data pipelines. data analysis tools and models to support tokenomics research and strategy development
• Help to codify best practices and optimise internal processes to scale the Tokenomics team further - including; Model token allocation; Distribution and vesting schedules; Supply and demand modelling; Projected revenue calculations
• Create and maintain interactive dashboards and reports to communicate key metrics and insights to internal stakeholders
• Using data to identify key stakeholders and their “sinks” and “faucets” in token economies
• Working with the tokenomics team to design token utility, governance, and security models
• Contribute to litepapers/whitepapers
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Listing, Engineering, Treasury, and Game Development to ensure the successful implementation of token economies
• Working closely with other data-focused members of Animoca Brands to ensure all employees have access to the data they require
• Design monitor metrics and dashboard to support and iterate existing token economies of Animoca Brands over time to ensure sustainability and growth
• Help identify potential partnerships with companies within Animoca Brands’ ecosystem and make appropriate introductions
• Perform research on token economies to help the team stay on top of the latest developments

Responsibilities;

• Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis and visualisation tools such as Python, R, or SQL
• Experience with both extracting (API/Webscocets) and analysing on-chain data
• Experience in producing Dune Analytic dashboards or similar
• Familiarity with cryptocurrency and blockchain markets and data sources
• Experience working with large and complex datasets
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills

• A degree in a related field such as computer science, statistics, economics, or finance
• Experience with dashboard development using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Metabase or others
• A Master’s or PhD degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or similar quantitative/research background is a plus
• Deep interest and knowledge of Web 3.0 and blockchain is a must – crypto, NFTs, DAOs
• Experience in designing token economies or writing litepapers/whitepapers is a plus
• Skilled at modelling and comfortable with building complex spreadsheets/simulations or computer modelsHighly motivated self-starter and fast learn
