You will be joining a growing team of 5 members, reporting directly to our Sr. Talent Acquisition Manager & working closely with various key stakeholders across the organization. The Talent team is a critical piece in strategically scaling the organization while establishing and maintaining the highest possible standard and a spectacular culture. To be successful in this role, you have "been there, done that" when it comes to building teams in an ambiguous environment at blitzscaling startup. You are an outside of the box thinker with a high level of emotional intelligence, knowing when to have boundaries and when to flex with competing demands. At 90 days
- Established strong relationships with key stakeholders and a solid foundational understanding of our systems, process, and general ecosystem
- Making a big impact by independently managing 5-7 searches on average and by curating a best-in-class candidate experience
- Closed many searches at all levels from entry to senior
- Contributed to the ongoing optimization of our systems and processes
- Received glowing reviews and opportunity to receive a discretionary bonus
- Successfully lead all searches for an full department (or more)
- Raised the bar for the entire talent team
- Received glowing reviews again and opportunity to receive a discretionary bonus ### ### RESPONSIBILITIES & SUCCESS FACTORS
- Partner with Hiring Managers to strategically develop growth plans, scope role & responsibilities, build intentional interview plans in Greenhouse, lead kickoff call, and debrief meetings
- Learn how to identify & vet top talent for each search, and consistently move candidates through the pipeline at a rapid pace
- Become a master sourcer using LinkedIn & Gem to engage in passive A players and getting them excited to explore the opportunity to join Parallel
- Pre-close throughout the process and close top talent consistently by proactively managing pipelines and mastering our scheduling tool, GoodTime
- Establish and maintain a best-in-class candidate experience
- Master our systems, processes, and tech stack while leading the ongoing evolution of them as well
- Collaborate with the other global talent team members to share best practices and learn together
- Alignment with our values and passion for our mission ### ### MUST-HAVES
- Minimum 1+ year startup experience as a Recruiter
- 3+ years total Talent Acquisition experience in any talent team role(s)
- Experience managing 5-7 different types of searches on average with 4-5 Hiring Managers on average
- Some knowledge of and passion for the crypto world
- Humble but confident professional with a growth mindset who is always trying to improve their game. If you aren’t trying to join a winning team and raise the bar with your own performance then you’re not going to enjoy this role. Otherwise, it’s a dream opportunity
- Independent, resourceful, solution oriented self-starter who’s not afraid to say “I don’t know” and ask for help when other options are exhausted or time is of the essence
- Collaborative team player with exceptional emotion intelligence and communication skills who gladly goes above and beyond knowing their teammates will do the same without question.
- Keen listening skills, strong closer — honest and transparent ### ### NICE-TO-HAVES
