We're looking for a Head of Design with strong interactive skills and experience to join the product development team at MELD. We build mobile apps using blockchain technology. The products are highly interactive and have beautiful UX products for everyday use.
The Head of Design position requires a seasoned graphic designer who is highly-creative, possesses excellent management skills, and can articulate abstract ideas clearly and relay them to the team and our clients. The head of design will be responsible for development of concepts, planning, quantity control, training and management of the creative team.
Responsibilities
- Creating and maintaining the visual identity of MELD
- Lead efforts across UI/UX design, graphic design, 3D design. This will entail both working on each of these categories yourself, in addition to building out a team who will support you. MELD is a scaling company, your responsibilities will grow as the company grows
- Art direct our webapps and landing page
- Product focused design- fundamental knowledge of the user experiences, user flows, and designing an intuitive interface accordingly.
- Delegate work within the design team.
- Create and manage budgets
- Focus on UX strategy to optimize user experience
Requirements
- Leadership โ You will be building a team that reports to you- it is essential that you are able to build and maintain a positive team spirit.

- Prior experience leading engineers to design UX/UI systems.
- Crypto knowledge and experience preferred
- 10 Years of experience as a Designer
