MetaENGINE is a rapidly growing global startup dedicated to enabling anyone to easily create studio quality video games at a massive scale with Web3 Blockchain capabilities. The core engine has been used since 2001 to build some of the worlds most popular games. We've raised $6M in seed funding and well on our way to increasing our valution in preparation for our Series A round, which has great interest.
About the Role:
As metaENGINE's Head of Business Operations, you will work closely with the executive leadership team (Co-Founders, CRO, and Head of Product) to define and implement critical cross-functional processes, strategy, and systems. You will be responsible for critical company-building and organizational leadership activities to drive collaboration, promote operational excellence, and scale the organization. This role is ideal for a self-starter, problem-solver, doer with a blend of strategy, execution, and people management experience.
The ideal candidate will have most, if not all, of these qualifications:
- MBA or 2+ years of management consulting or similar experience preferred
- Strategic thinker and willingness to roll up your sleeves
- Ability to execute effectively with limited guidance and in ambiguous situations
- Extremely versatile and agile
- Biased towards action
This person will be expected to become intimately acquainted with metaENGINE's vision as well as the current operational procedures and value propositions of our gaming engine parent company HeroEngine.
You will be expected to research and learn the gaming industry inside out so that you can help with contracts and proposals as we continue to partner with other organizations and develop games through our in-house game development studio. You will assist in conducting client facing meetings where you will go over proposals, answer questions, and build relationships. You will act as a liason between external clients and internal employees. You will also help set meetings between internal stakeholders, streamline processes, and assist in determining decisions related to hiring.
