In this role, you will
- Provide strategic legal advice on technology-related matters encompassing software development, contracts, and data privacy.
- Draft and negotiate technology-related agreements such as SaaS and vendor contracts.
- Advise on intellectual property rights protection, including patents and trademarks.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy laws like GDPR and CCPA.
- Manage risks associated with technology projects and initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with IT, security, and product development teams.
- Assist in developing company policies on technology, data privacy, and AI.
- Provide employee training on technology contracts and data privacy issues.
You will need
- A Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and bar admission in at least one state.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in technology law.
- Strong knowledge of intellectual property, data privacy, and cybersecurity law.
- Proven ability to negotiate complex technology contracts.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Independence in managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
