The Solana Foundation has a mission to help support and grow the Solana network and its community while driving mass adoption for blockchain. Based in Switzerland, the Solana Foundation is working to realize a world where individuals own their data, use permissionless networks, and transfer information freely around the world.ย ย
Responsibilities
- Lead Marketing globally for Solana Foundation
- Help us define the Solana brand and its values and craft the stories that we should be highlighting / telling in order to advance the goals of the Solana Foundation
- Drive innovative brand strategies in a decentralised ecosystemย
- Develop a deep understanding of our major existing and high potential developer and user personas
- Work with Developer Relations to drive the strategy and promotion of top-tier developer content, community, forums, documentation, and self-serve materials.ย Support developer and consumer marketing efforts across the Solana ecosystem
- Drive the right audiences to Solanaโs virtual and in-person events, including Hackathons and Hacker Houses
- Create a third party event strategy that aligns with Solanaโs role in the community and with the results and initiatives that we are driving
- Lead strategies for reaching the right developers, partners, influencers and users in key verticals (eg DeFi, NFTs, Payments and Gaming)
- Identify, scope, and produce or adapt compelling content and marketing assets to support our teams and drive understanding of and demand for Solana
- Build creative user and developer marketing campaigns which resonate with Solana Foundation brand values
- Own the Solana Foundation websites ย ### Requirements:
- 10+ years experience in Developer and User Marketingย
- 5+ years building and leading high performing marketing teams
- Critical thinker with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience building world-class, relevant developer and user brands
- Ability to thrive in unstructured, fast-growing companies and ecosystems
- Product or Eng experienced a bonus
- Crypto experience is a bonus, but not required (Crypto passion required)
