Responsibilities

• Oversee index operations with a focus on ensuring methodology adherence and smooth data production services.
• Develop and refine scalable procedures to support growth across operational functions.
• Map data flows and lead cross-functional data gathering, analysis, and distribution efforts.
• Support new product rollouts with robust operational infrastructure and administration.
• Define and plan future operational capability requirements.
• Supervise and automate data management processes internally and with clients.
• Coordinate and execute operational events such as index reconstitutions and rebalances.
• Partner with product and engineering to automate operational workflows.
• Collaborate on documentation of methodologies and processes supporting new index launches.
• Support sales and senior management by addressing client data queries and quantitative analysis.

Requirements

• At least 3 years experience in quantitatively focused roles within the indices business; crypto indices experience is a plus.
• Experience using data to inform operational decisions and support cross-functional initiatives.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across sales, compliance, product, and engineering teams.
• Proficiency in Python scripting, automation, and data analysis with experience automating recurring tasks.
• Passion for cryptocurrency and a learning attitude towards industry trends.
• Belief in cypherpunk and libertarian values aligned with Kraken's principles.
• Based in the US, UK, or Europe with fluency in English and comfortable with a global remote-first work environment.

• Experience with token supply snapping and analyzing available supply of tokens on-chain.
