Responsibilities
- Act as the product teamβs eyes and ears on the ground in Dallas, embedding yourself with field teams and becoming an expert in their day-to-day operations
- Drive adoption of Homeboundβs software by training users, identifying blockers, and promoting best practices
- Own adoption and impact KPIs for the Dallas market and partner with central teams to close gaps
- Build strong relationships across construction operations, procurement, land development, sales, and other field orgs to ensure their feedback is heard and acted on
- Identify opportunities for new features, workflow improvements, and refinements based on firsthand observation and structured input
- Partner closely with engineering, design, and other product managers to translate insights into product requirements
- Walk homes with construction teams to see firsthand how the tools are (or arenβt) supporting fieldwork
- Lead training sessions and change management efforts as new features roll out
- Be a relentless advocate for the user and a trusted voice of the Dallas market in internal product discussions
Requirements
- 3+ years of product management or equivalent experience, ideally with some hands-on exposure to residential construction
- Deep empathy for users in the field and a passion for building tools that make their work easier
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to form trusted relationships across a wide variety of roles, from superintendents to VPs with proven success influencing without authority
- A bias toward action and comfort operating with autonomy in a fast-paced environment
- Experience balancing local tactical needs with broader product strategy across multiple regions or markets
- Strong experience defining, owning, and reporting on success metrics and confidence analyzing adoption data, diagnosing friction points, and proposing pragmatic solutions
- Clear and effective communication skills, especially when translating between field needs and technical teams
- Familiarity with construction software such as Procore, BuildPro, SupplyPro, or similar tools is a strong plus
- Must be in the Dallas office a minimum of three days per week and frequently in the field
