Job Description
As PM for Ranking and Quality, you will build the core intelligence and relevance engine behind Glean Search and Glean Chat. You will understand user needs, map them to the right technical solutions, and evaluate impact. With LLMs and retrieval-augmented generation being adopted widely by the industry, search is even more important than ever. You will learn how to make these work in practice and establish Gleanโs position as the premiere platform for enterprise AI.
What you will do and achieve:
- Spend a lot of time with our customers and users to deeply understand their needs
- Develop key parts of our product roadmap, marrying customersโ needs with our product vision
- Empower your team by giving context, setting direction, and building alignment
- Drive customer-focused decisions, clear prioritization, and efficient execution
- Coordinate cross-functionally with with leadership, go-to-market teams, and other key stakeholders across the company
- Build processes that will scale as our team and company go through rapid growth
Who you are:
- You have 6+ years of experience as a Product Manager in search, ranking, or a related domain. Experience working at an enterprise B2B SaaS company is a plus.
- You have a strong technical background in ranking and AI. You excel at analytical thinking, understanding complex technical systems, and marrying user problems with algorithmic solutions.
- You are an excellent written and verbal communicator.
- You have a proven track record of taking ownership, taking initiative, and delivering results.
- You collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners.
- You have a learning and growth mindset.
- You are mission-first and understand that your success is measured by your product and teamโs success.

For California based applicants:
The standard base salary range for this position is $165,000 - $250,000 annually. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for variable compensation, equity, and benefits.
