At ClickUp data is the key driver behind the decisions we make every day. Our teams rely on accurate and up to date data to measure their success and to build a better product. An ideal candidate would have strong SQL skills, experience conducting experiments and advising PMs on experimentation best practices, and the ability to answer challenging business/product questions through the use of a data warehouse and raw data sources.
The Role:
- Partner with product managers and executives to help drive product decisions by extracting meaningful insights from large sets of data.
- Spearhead ClickUp's experimentation efforts in Product. Design and run A/B tests, develop best practices on experimentation, and forge processes that enable the team to run fast, meaningful experiments, extracting valuable insights from results.
- Turn loosely defined problems into practical analyses.
- Acquire a deep understanding of our users and contextual data nuances, interpreting and conveying findings to key stakeholders.
- Develop a strong business sense and understanding of business performance drivers.
- Utilize proactive and autonomous initiative to understand the needs of the org and drive forward the right project while also supporting others that can benefit from your expertise.
- Data Stack: Snowflake, SQL, DBT, Eppo, Segment, Amplitude, Tableau, Hex, AWS.
Qualifications:
- 4+ experience as a Product Analyst or Product Data Scientist with 2+ years experience in SaaS.
- A strong understanding of software business principles and SaaS metrics.
- Proven expertise in conducting and interpreting A/B tests.
- Proficiency with BI tools (Tableau, Looker, QuickSight) and event tracking platforms (Segment, Heap, etc...).
- Advanced skills in SQL transformations and relational databases.
- Self-motivated, operationally-focused, and a problem-solver.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
Desirable:
- Extensive knowledge of Amplitude and event instrumentation.
- Knowledge of product led growth initiatives and monetization/engagement drivers.
- Experience building statistical models using Python or R.
Salary Range: $145,000 - $212,500 (base pay)
