We are seeking a Founder for a New vertical who thrives on the challenge of constant innovation. As a New Vertical leader, you will work closely with our CTO and other leaders on creating 0 to 1 products and finding the next big venture for Duolingo. We're interested in working with founders with visions that will help us become an iconic and beloved company for the next 100 years. Let's build together!
You Will...
- Lead the development of a new product, new features, or new vertical and work with business leaders to define the product's long-term roadmap
- Anticipate industry trends, develop groundbreaking solutions, and navigate unique complexities that come with pioneering a new vertical
- Build and a lead team of talented individuals
- Collaborate with leaders across all of the verticals at Duolingo
You Have...
- Previous experience co-founding, leading an early-stage company, or having equivalent entrepreneurial experience
- Deep understanding of the technology landscape, with the ability to anticipate and adapt to industry trends
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- You are able to operate out of a Duolingo office
Exceptional Candidates Will Have...
- Experience in fast-growing, consumer-facing, data-driven startups, ideally mobile app based.
