Responsibilities
- Define Product Vision and Strategy: Develop and articulate a clear product vision and roadmap aligned with mission, customer needs, and business objectives focused on accounting workflow automation and AI-driven solutions.
- Lead Product Development: Oversee end-to-end product lifecycle, including market research, requirement definition, feature prioritization, and collaboration with Engineering and Design.
- Team Leadership and Mentorship: Manage, mentor, and grow a team of Product Managers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and other departments for seamless go-to-market strategies and product success.
- Customer Engagement: Engage directly with customers to gather feedback, validate ideas, and ensure products deliver measurable value.
- Drive Business Outcomes: Own product roadmap and KPIs to ensure features deliver tangible business impact and improve customer satisfaction.
- Executive Alignment: Work closely with executive leadership to align product initiatives with company goals and present roadmaps and business justifications.
Requirements
- 7+ years of product management experience, including 3+ years in leadership managing Product Managers, preferably in B2B SaaS.
- Strong understanding of software development, web technologies, and familiarity with accounting, finance, or workflow automation processes.
- Proven leadership abilities with experience mentoring and developing talent.
- Experience engaging with customers to gather insights and translate feedback into product strategies.
- Success collaborating with Engineering, Design, Sales, and Marketing to deliver impactful products.
- Ability to define and execute product vision aligned with market trends using a data-driven approach.
- Exceptional communication skills to convey product strategies and value propositions internally and externally.
- Bachelorβs degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field; MBA is a plus.
- Experience in accounting, finance, or fintech with understanding of month-end close, reconciliations, or compliance processes.
- Familiarity with AI-driven technologies applied in SaaS products.
- Experience scaling products in high-growth, pre-IPO or public company environments.
Compensation and Benefits
- Base pay range from $188,000 to $282,000 plus competitive benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, Family Forming benefits, Life & Disability Insurance, and Unlimited Vacation.
